  Michael E. Cormier, MD

  Dr. Michael Cormier, a Lake Charles native and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, has been in private practice since 1986. He received his undergraduate degree from McNeese State University and his medical degree from LSU Medical Center in New Orleans. He completed his internship at Moss Regional Hospital before serving as a general medical officer at Fort Polk from 1979-1981. He completed his family practice residency at Moss Regional Hospital and his dermatology residency at LSU Medical Center (Charity Hospital) in New Orleans.   Dr. Brian Ford, a Lake Charles native and graduate of Kinder High School, has been in private practice since 2002. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from McNeese State University before obtaining his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. He served as chapter president of Alpha Omega Alpha and was a recipient of the Nathan Bernstein Scholarship and Southern Medical Association Scholarship. ​ Dr. Ford completed his internship in internal medicine at LSU Health Science Center, Department of Internal Medicine in Shreveport and residency in dermatology at LSU Health Science Center Department of Dermatology in New Orleans. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Diplomate to the American Board of Dermatology.   Dr. Kevin Guidry, a native of Lake Charles and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, has been in private practice since 2003. He received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and completed his medical doctor degree at the LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans. He completed an internship in internal medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado before returning to the LSU Health Science Center Department of Dermatology in New Orleans to complete his residency. He served as chief resident from 2002-2003. ​ Before joining Dermatology Associates of Southwest Louisiana in 2006, Dr. Guidry was in private practice at Advanced Dermatology Skin Cancer and Laser Surgery Center in Aurora, Colorado.   Dr. Lee Miller, a Lake Charles native, is a graduate of Barbe High School. He received his undergraduate degree in biological engineering from Louisiana State University and his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, where he also completed his internship in internal medicine. ​ Dr. Miller completed his residency training in dermatology at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem, NC, where he also served as chief resident from 2011-2012. Following this, he completed a fellowship in procedural dermatology at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, CA. Dr. Miller is a board-certified dermatologist and is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Academy of Dermatology. ​He is the only Mohs surgeon in the area.   Dr. Jenna Roach is a native to Southwest Louisiana. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from McNeese State University with a degree in biological sciences and a minor in chemistry. She then obtained her medical degree from Texas A&M Health Sciences Center. Her internship in internal medicine was completed at Tulane University in New Orleans. Dr. Roach completed her residency training in dermatology at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas, where she also served as chief resident from 2019-2020.
