A native of Pascagoula, Mississippi, Dr. Khan is a graduate of the University of South Alabama in Mobile with a Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences and Tulane University in New Orleans with a Master of Science in pharmacology. He earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles, and completed his residency at the Memorial/Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) Family Residency Program in Lake Charles.
